Hundreds of families joined Sunny Ridge and the College for a day of celebration with live entertainment, vendors selling Chinese gifts of all kinds, a costume parade, lion dance, food, and games and crafts for the kids! See more photos from Chinese New Year 2004! Thanks to our friends at the United States Post Office who provided thrills to all as we unveiled the new Lunar New Year stamp. Dr. Chris Picard, College of DuPage's VP of Student Affairs, joined Postmaster Don Sommers and Sunny Ridge President Gary Longman, for the ceremony. Children were treated to a book reading from author Kathy Tucker, who read her book, "The Seven Chinese Sisters" at our celebration.
