Travel to China
This trip will truly change your life forever! Sunny Ridge provides a group travel experience. A group of five or more families travel together for a period of 14 to 16 days, and are escorted by a Sunny Ridge social worker.

At Sunny Ridge we believe your travel to complete your adoption should include more than simply returning with your child. Rather, your journey to China should be an opportunity for you to absorb and experience Chinese culture, visit historic sites, and learn more about your child's culture of origin. This experience, we hope, will be a stepping stone to a lifetime of learning and appreciation for your child's culture. As your child grows, you can share your first journey to their homeland as a special time in both of your lives.

Being part of a Sunny Ridge travel group is a most rewarding experience. Many groups form life-long relationships as they share common experiences. Each travel group is unique, as you complete your adoptions together and celebrate parenthood in a most special way.

Sunny Ridge arranges for group travel rates and provides travel preparation meetings with detailed information about your trip. At these meetings you learn about your itinerary, what to pack, and specific adoption-related appointments.

Groups generally travel four to eight weeks after receipt of child referral. Many couples travel together. Remember that at least one parent must be a US citizen, and at least one parent must travel to complete your adoption.
